"All Harry Potter wants is to get away from the Durselys and go back to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature named Dobby - who says that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.
And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gildeory Lockhart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny.
But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone - or something- starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possible be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the only everyone at Hogwarts most suspects ... Harry Potter himself."

Way i am waiting....

Is that a real question?

I mean who is not waiting for this edition of Harry Potter to finally -FINALLY- come out in October?

I mean the first book is beautiful and i loved how Kay managed to actually picture how Rowling described everything in the books instead of keeping with the very well known actors and movie versions. So i really can not - CANNOT- wait for this edition to see what he managed to put together here.

I am especially excited for the Weasely's house, anyone else?

Also who wants another very good reason to actually re-read Harry Potter in a version that they haven't read before?

Not that there really is a reason needed to read Harry Potter.

Anyways... i am so unbelievable excited that we finally have a cover -such a beautiful if not necessary new picture- and an actual release date and I want that book in my very impatient hands right now!

Are in love with the cover and book as i am? Can't wait for it as well?

Let me know, lets chat :)

Write more later....

  1. I can't wait until all of these editions are released. This is my first time seeing this one. I think I like the cover on the first one best, but this one is still good.

    1. It is beautiful, isn't it?
And you are right, the cover on the first one is beautiful but i do think that this one still fits the second book beautifully. I personally had opened for a something a bit more original for this illustrated edition since the flying car is not really something unique. But it is still beautiful and i do love that they kept the overall design -with the writing and where it all is on the cover- the same and fitting to the first one :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment :)
