Lynette wonders what he knows about the day her mother died and hopes that he might help her remember the things she can't.
But Nick has no intention of telling Lynette the truth. Besides the damage it might cause his own family, he doesn't want to risk harming the fragile friendship between him and the woman he once thought of as a kid sister.

As their father's failing health and financial concerns bring the Carlisle siblings home, secrets begin to surface - secrets that will either restore their shattered relationships or separate the siblings forever. But pulling up anchor of the past propels them into the perfect storm, powerful enough to make them question all they ever believed in."

Way i am waiting....

While i am neither the biggest romance reader, nor the biggest contemporary reader, i do love a good interesting not to extremely dramatic contemporary every now and again.

Also i might - MIGHT- be a sucker for a beautiful cover. And the real devision of what i find beautiful as a cover is very loose and i don't really have a specific thing i look for. There are just some that i see -like this one for example- that i like the look of and want to read the book simply to see if it fits with the cover.

I also do like stories that have the non-typical family stories and this sounds like it is not the typical family story.

It just sound interesting and either like a nice and fast read or a good deeper meaning read. I at least hope it is either one of those. We'll see what it really is when i might eventually get around to actually reading this.

What about you guys?

Heard about this book?
Want to read it?
A good contemporary book to recommend?

Let me know, lets chat :)

Write more later....
