Book Review: Allegiant

And the last Book Review i will be doing in the Divergent Series, because i will not be talking about the "Four" novella book thing.  And instead of having a long intro before i start, we are just going to go right into this review.  Here are the Book facts:  Title : Insurgent Author : Veronica Roth Language : English Pages :544 (Hardback) series : Yes, Divergent Series Book 3.   Overall rating : 3 to 4 out of 5 Summary on the book :  "What if your whole world was a lie? What if a signle revelation - like a single choice - changed everything? What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected? ." Worth reading?  If you read the first and second one, then yes. I mean honestly, if you read two out of three in a trilogy then yes, read the last book already!  Just as with the second part, this review will have spoilers. Because it is a third book in a trilogy. And because to talk about this book you actually have to talk ab

Book Review. Insurgent

As i said in the last Book review, i flew through this series last week and wanted to post the reviews a bit father after each other, for one to be done with them and secondly to not spend three weeks on one book series, especially since i seemed to finally be reading a bit more and will have quite a few reviews over the next few weeks to get through and don't want to spend a huge amount of time on one series alone. So more then one update a day for a few days.  Isn't that nice? Anyways... on with it so that this post doesn't take on massive proportions as well.  Here are the Book facts:  Title : Insurgent Author : Veronica Roth Language : English Pages :525 (Hardback) series : Yes, Divergent Series Book 2.   Overall rating : 3 to 4 out of 5 Summary on the book :  "One choice can transform you -or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to

Top 10 Tuesday: Beach Books

Another Tuesday, another Top 10 list of the brokeandbookish  blog meme. This one is the actual current one. Wow. I know. I am current, who would have thought that that would ever happen, ever? Anyways... This weeks Top 10 is all about Beach books, and the ones that i would have in my beach bag this summer or the ten books that i think make great beach reads. And to be honest the second part is more likely since i will not go to the beach. Or the pool. I have neither one as an option or near me. Still. Beach reads are fun easy or just overall books that you just want to read in one sitting. And i do have a few of those books that i would love to share. So here it goes. Here are my top 10 easy read, can't put down, have to take everywhere books. 1. Manhunting by Jennifer Cruise This is my favorite Jennifer Cruise book. I read a few of hers, i love a nice funny romance in between heavier -mostly historical or non-fiction- books that leave me a bit heavy hearted or j

Book Review: Divergent

I read quite a few books last week.  6 to be exact. And 4 of them were from this series. Or in other words i read the entire Divergent Series and the extra novella book thing that came with it in 3 days out of the 7 that made up last week.  Mostly because even though those books are not necessary short, they are so easy to read and fly through that there is no problem in reading one of those books in one day. So i read Divergent on Wednesday, and Insurgent on Thursday, and Allegiant and those novella story things took up on Friday.  They were fast. They were easy. They were good enough that it was fun to read the that quickly. Which is always nice. If you find a series that you can just fly through and be done with them. So here are my thoughts on the first book in the series. Here are the Book facts:  Title : Divergent Author : Veronica Roth Language : English Pages :576 (Hardback) series : Yes, Divergent Series Book 1.   Overall rating : 3 to 4 out of 5

Top 10 Tuesday: books I'll probably never read

Another Tuesday, another Top 10 post from the weekly meme by The Broke and the Bookish . Another older one but i wanted to one that seems fun and easy to for me to do and the newer ones are all a bit hard. This one is not old. It is from may 5, of this year, so earlier this month. But still. Not the one from the current week. Still, this one was fun , because i do have a little list of books in my head that i am just not interested in reading even though people all around me seemed to love it. I do have a few on this list that are more general books by one author, but still, it goes with this because i will not be reading those books. So that counts for me to list them here. Also: I am not saying that i will never ever read the books listed here, but i have not yet read those books and i don't plan to read them in the near future or at all. That does not mean that i will not read them sometime in the future because I am fully in the believe that reading tastes change and tha
