Top 10 Tuesday: Favorite 5 stars!

Its another Tuesday and since i kind of suck at the moment with actual regular posting, I wanted to at least get the weeks post up.  Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at , so clearly not my idea! BUT i actually only have one 5 star read so far in 2016. I mean I read 20 books so far this year and just one of those was a 5 star and that was a re-read so i knew that that was going to be a 5 star read.  What i am trying to say is that even thought this weeks topic is "10 of my most recent 5 star reads" i will chance that to "10 of my favorite 5 star reads" because problem describe just above.  And lets be honest here, some of the books that we rate 5 stars to are great, fantastic even, but they are still not favorites.  And then there are those books like for example for me that is Harry Potter, that are my favorite books and because of that they are five stars even if the actual book itself might not be perfect.

Top 10 Tuesday: Spring TBR

New Tuesday, new blog post.  Slightly late, but hey, it is still Tuesday so who cares, right? Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at , so clearly not my idea! I just decided that i will not be doing monthly TBRs anymore because i make them get really excited about reading the books during the coming month and then somehow never get around to those books, at all or at the most to one or two of them. Which is just not what i want to do on here.  BUT i do think that a seasonal or quarterly (which ever term you prefer) TBRs are a good way to go. Here are some of the books i hope to get to in the next few months:    1. A Little Life - Hanya Yanagihara I very recently -and by that i mean over the weekend- i decided to try and read as many Books nominated for the "Baileys' Women's Prize for Fiction 2016" as i can before the winner is announced and see which books i would give a prize to and then compare who the &q

Top 10 Tuesday: Am i reading a different book?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted over at , so clearly not my idea! I kind of love this weeks topic of "Characters everyone loved but i just don't get" because lets face it there is a good amount  of character where I just DO NOT understand where the heck the love comes from that so many people have for those characters.  And it is not that i hate all those characters that i want to talk about, in most cases it is just that i don't understand them. Or think that they are making incredible stupid choices and people seem to just ignore all that and focus on the "but its so romantic" which is just bullshit to me. So its not that i hate the characters, its really just that i don't get the love.  So maybe this post should be more accurately and fully titled:    Am I reading a different book where the characters that so many people love are changed to something completely stupid or what is going on here?  Because h
